IPOH: “I am not the Datuk M. There are a lot of Datuk Ms in the army.”
Army field commander Lt-Jen Datuk Masood Zainal Abidin looked baffled when reporters asked if he was the Datuk M referred to by recording artiste Noraniza Idris.
In a recent interview, she said she was romantically involved with a senior armed forces officer.
“No, not this M. I am not the Datuk M. I am not the one,” he said.
Lt-Jen Masood was here yesterday to bestow honorary ranks to members of the Perak Reserve Army Support Committee at the State Secretariat Building.
